In 1970, the Whiteside Machine Company began manufacturing special parts and making repairs for the furniture industry in Hickory, NC. As the company's reputation grew, they expended their operations to include product offerings for businesses and hobbists, including high-quality router bits. Today, Whiteside router bits are the undisputed favorite among woodworkers. A complete variety of router bits made from high quality steel shafts and micro-grain carbide tips are available for every application. Bowl and tray bits are designed with a flat bottom that leaves no ridges when cutting out the bottom of a bowl or serving tray, unlike their traditional round nose counterparts. Model 1372B: 1/4" shank, 3/4" cutting diameter, 5/8" cutting length, 1/4" radius, 2-3/8" overall length, 2 flutes, bearing on shank for pattern template routing.
