LogRite has applied what they know about moving logs to a tool series with handles made from fiberglass reinforced by a steel core. These tools feature 1.5" diameter handles, the same heat-treated zinc-plated steel hooks and rubber grips as the standard tools, and aluminum collars and heads to protect the handles from damage. Because of its straight-pointed end, the peavey is ideal for use between logs to free them. The 42" peavey accommodates logs with diameters from 8" to 32" wide. Also available in 48" and 60" lengths. Although these tools were designed for and are preferred by utility linemen for rolling and setting poles, they are NOT rated and will NOT protect against electric shock.
