The Dubuque UC-76A Wedgegrip universal cabinet shelf clamp is uniquely designed to provide targeted clamping leverage close to the work-piece joint. This clamp is designed with a jaw-style clamp on one end oriented at a 90-degree angle to attach to right-angle joints on your work-piece and a traditional screw clamp on the other. The jaw end is locked into place with leverage action that increases in force as the screw is tightened, and is equipped with a rotating pad on the jaw that protects the surface of the wood. The advantage of this style of clamp is that once the jaw is locked into place on your work-piece, it will not shift even when the screw on the other side is released, eliminating the need to access both sides of your project to make adjustments. An additional benefit of this clamp design is that it reduces the risk of bowing that often occurs when using traditional bar clamps, because it attaches closer to the joint of your work-piece than a bar clamp is able to. The injection-molded aluminum alloy composition of this clamp makes it strong but light, thus allowing you to use multiple clamps on a single project without adding a lot of extra weight. The Dubuque UC-76A Wedgegrip universal cabinet shelf clamp comes standard with a 13/16" jaw that will accommodate standard 3/4" to 13/16" stock. Like all Dubuque products, this clamp is manufactured with pride in the USA.
