The Kreg PRS5000 Router Lift converts your router to a precision table-top tool. Simply mount your router to the undercarriage of the lift, and make all adjustments and bit changes with safety and ease from above the surface of your table! The lift replaces the standard insert plate in your router table and is operated by a hand crank that raises and lowers the router along steel shafts in the undercarriage, giving easy access to the the bit for quick changes. Several features of the PRS5000 enable you to set and operate your router with precision accuracy. One full revolution of the hand crank raises or lowers the lift carriage (and therefore your bit) exactly 1/16th of an inch, though you can adjust to thounsandths of an inch if desired. The built-in micro-adjust scale enables you to precisely adjust your bit height with no backlash, and to zero out the bit height at any point to establish a baseline set-up. This allows you to adjust your bit height as needed and return to the baseline settings with ease, ensuring accuracy of performance on repeat cuts. The PRS5000 plate is constructed of anodized aluminum and measures 3/8 in. x 9-1/4 in. x 11-3/4 in. (9.5mm x 235mm x 298mm). It is compatible with all Kreg router tables and many other brands. The lift will accept over 20 popular routers without the need for additional pads or adapters. It comes with three (3) reducing insert rings, a ring wrench, a starting pin and a detailed owner's manual.
